ShadPS4 is a free, open-source emulator that lets you play PlayStation 4 games on your PC. It works on Windows, Linux, and macOS. How it works ShadPS4 translates low-level commands from the PS4 into commands that Vulkan, a graphics technology, can understand. This allows the PC to display the game correctly. Supported games ShadPS4 can run games like Bloodborne, Dark Souls Remastered, and Red Dead Redemption. However, it currently only emulates some games to varying degrees of support. Getting started You can download the emulator from the release tab or the action tab. If the emulator crashes immediately after opening, you can try downloading Visual C++ Redistributables. ShadPS4 has built-in controller support with basic 1:1 conversions of the buttons.
