Secret Psychedelica was born from the Santa Clara Monday night weekly known as Secret Society in 2001. Secret Psychedelica ran for over 5 years straight and showcased pretty much every local psytrance DJ that was playing at the time. International guests including S-Range, Psychaos, Hujaboy, and D-Tek were featured on special nights such as the anniversary or Halloween shows. I'll never forget the 3 year anniversary when 300 people showed up on a Monday night in Silicon Valley, an area musically dominated by top 40 and hip-hop, to see S-Range! Resident DJs through the years included Dutch, Mubali, Aeon, Arwin, Neuropsyntist, and yours truly. -Michael Liu
