Throwing illegal events without getting caught (or, for that matter, buying and selling illegal drugs with Bitcoin on Silk Road) isn’t rocket science. Also, raves are a lightning rod for flashy short-lived trends that never really go anywhere. This is significant more for what blockchain implies and how the idea can spread far beyond cryptocurrency. And like Twitter, it offers a solution to those in dictatorships. This is how you can anonymously self-organize a revolution without membership lists.
On the flip side though, won’t be long before terrorists realize this is their dream come true.
