It is barbaric to allow rapists to force our sisters daughters and granddaughters to have their babies (I mean come on! Who wants that?) and with the recent case of Herschel Walker, hypocritical on top of that to elect “pro lifers” who paid for multiple abortions and tried to lie about it.
This gets to the heart why the GOP keeps losing. What genius thinks this abortion strat will not completely destroy the party? What genius made this happen? Trump and Mitch McConnel, with Ruth Bader Ginsburg a distant third for setting the stage by clinging on to power.
The dog finally caught the car. They are locked in a self-destruction spiral right now.
Americans don’t like it when you take away their freedom and will continue to punish the GOP. And the problem isn’t going to just go away if they try to sweep it under the rug. It will remain until Roe v Wade is again the law of the land.
What we need in this country is a massive dose of moderation, reasonableness and civility. I will side with whatever party covers those virtues the most, and don’t have joke/embarrassment candidates like Herschel Walker. If he is not a complete embarrassment to you as a Republican, then we have arrived at why I became a proud Democrat after the election of Trump.
The Republicans became a cult. What do they even stand for now? Owning the libs is not a serious, real platform, or even, as we have seen, a reality.
2016 was a classic Pyrrhic victory.They done poked the sleeping dog. Now I will vote straight ticket blue for the remainder of my life, because I have finally seen what the Republicans stand for.
So Trump and the consequent demise of Roe v Wade destroyed the Republican party in the national arena for the foreseeable future. It’s been 6 years of straight losses, and we are kind of primed to see another 6 years.
