The news on US sharing intelligence with Russia has been reported today by 3 independent sources. If this turns out to be true, the Russians are using satellite military data from the US. This would really be no surprise after freezing Ukraine out of intelligent sharing and kicking Ukrainian refugees out of the US.
If this is true, and the US starts to aid Russia, where will that end up?
If we leave NATO, and IF Ukraine falls, Europe will build its own defense outside of the US arms industry. Trump will realize far too late what a shitshow he will have created. He will then keep doing the wrong thing rather than admit he was wrong. Russia would be able to procure all of the weapons that were sent to Ukraine, and use them on Europe, assuming they could even figure out how to use them – but the US could send instructors.
In the leadup to WW3 you’d definitely see a lot of resignations in the top brass, except for, of course, the very top which Trump has cherry picked. Hegseth would totally be on board as the US seizes Greenland and many other European outposts.
1984 with Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia. This is where it’s all heading.
The worst case scenario would be America actually militarily joining with Russia against Europe in a WW3 scenario, with Trump finally getting to declare martial law. People like me start disappearing.
In a wag the dog scenario, Trump sees going to war as a great distraction while he finally loots social security to buy a bunch of shady cryptocurrency from his billionaire buddies in a gigantic corrupt circle jerk.
After Ukraine, Poland, Moldova and the Baltics would probably be the first to fall, with great pressure on Finland and Sweden. With US help, Putin would go very very far, farther than any point since 1812.
We’re definitely not there yet, but the Overton Window is moving fast every day now. But day by day we are becoming the enemy. The bad guys.
