I’ve been renovating my mom’s house. It’s summer in Texas, and doors open and shut a lot, and chickens next door, dogs and compost all add to the fly problem.
You know yer an old trancer when your UV lights are there to kill flies. And not just houseflies but gnats, fruit flies, and other little critters I had no idea I had.
These Zevo traps are amazing! They plug into a wall socket and the flies are hidden ie facing the wall. The first one filled in a few days, on my second one now.
It’s genocide, yeah but fuckem. Die bitches. In the photo there are 3 that are moving, trying to get away.
YMMV, but to me all these dead flies (and counting) are totally worth $4. Though this is made by Proctor & Gamble, and comes with 2 extra filters, it’s pricer ($40) but you can buy a cheap knockoff filter for $4 rather than $10-12 on Amazon.
The best value is to just get the Zevo base light and frame at $20

…and then buy 6 knockoff filters:

I wonder if someday godlike aliens will arrive, and have these for people and similarly boast at the slaughter.
