This list has been a labour of love, and new advancements in technology and integration has made my long-awaited organizational obsession dreams come true.
A few years ago I spent several months compiling this list of the best video games ever made. I went through countless top lists, Metacritic scores, review sites, videos, compilations, and personal memory. I compiled maps, keybind infographics, made custom Steam banners where needed, and compiled metadata.
So, when you click a banner you get a description, review scores, release date, links, platforms, developer, publisher, etc.
It’s mostly PC, and skews old. It doesn’t count later-generation platform exclusives, unless they were ported to PC.
…and today, for the first time, aided by an HTML export plugin for the excellent video game library manager Playnite (better than Steam!), I was finally able to assemble it all, in one sortable webpage!
