Timothy Leary

October 22, 1920 – May 31, 1996 LSD Visionary. I met him in Austin in 1988 and he was very gracious, commenting on my Wang Chung T-Shirt.

To commemorate today, the day recreational use of psilocybin mushrooms became legal in Colorado, I bring you Timothy Leary’s campaign poster for governor of California in 1968, when he ran against Ronald Reagan. It is been enhanced and colorized with artificial intelligence, which he would have absolutely loved. Imagine how history would have been different had Leary won!
