I initially blew this off, as I’m not a UFO is Aliens believer, but the following passage from New York Times can’t really be explained away. If this isn’t a complete fabrication (or misquote) then something very very strange is going on.
“Under Mr. Bigelow’s direction, the company modified buildings in Las Vegas for the storage of metal alloys and other materials that Mr. Elizondo and program contractors said had been recovered from unidentified aerial phenomena.”
