A Statement from Tranceam and Gilles Clement of Synthetic Sadhus
In this time of sadness it gives me no small joy that Gilles Clement, one of the people I respect most, is rock solid, and has not succumbed to the antisemitism virus.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
What’s even more comforting is knowing that not ONE of my friends in the extended psy community has succumbed to it, either.
You can support all human life, hate Netanyahu, and still have the moral clarity to judge this most despicable act.
Although psytrance has always been central to many of us in the arcane metaphysical world, it was such a bizaare twist of fate that the current seminal event that has changed the whole world, was the slaughter at a psytrance party. This is a grievous hole in our community. 260 is a *lot.*
Let us honor their memory, and pay much attention to their sacrifice, a sacrifice any of us could easily have been there to become.
We need to try that much harder to keep our community connected, alive and well. For the world needs psytrance more than ever.

Anti semitism is a virus, a terrible disease, appealing to the lowest part of our humanity, xenophobia and racism, and we must all, at our level fight this evil.
My closest friends all my life have been Jewish, the woman i love is Jewish, my parents best friends are Jewish, our music is full of incredible Jewish artists and Jesus was Jewish….yet, we have all witness this hatred, this inexplicable hatred that Jewish people from the Antique Egypt to the russian polgroms to the holocaust to last week end have had to endure.
Let me remind you that the state of Israel was born and founded as the direct consequence of 6.5 millions innocent Jewish lives exterminated by the Germans and many of the countries that they controlled at the time.
Jewish people have the right to have their state, they have the right to prosper and to live in peace and even though i condemn the extremists orthodox colons that steal land in the west bank, they only represent less than a percent of the Israeli population and are not a representation of the the State of Israel.
Israel is a beautiful place, filled with love, with care, with joy and what happened since last week end is unfathomable, Universo Parrallelo, one of our milestone Goa trance festival in Israel has been the theater of the first line of victims of the Islamic terrorists who displayed acts of terror unseen since the SS murderers of the 1943 Russian Campaign where they also raped, dismembered and decapitated Jewish women and children as a game. These events have woken up all the trauma of the Holocaust and i am asking all of you to join me in doing whatever you can to help the state of Israel and support them in their effort to eradicate Hammas from the planet as well as to fight culturally and intellectually the Islamic anti-semite rhetoric and celebrate instead all religions, all philosophies, all faiths, all people, with respect, tolerance and kindness.

Sure, they could not control everything that was shown and said at the rally, but the timing itself is idiotic and organizational malpractice, at best. Someone in a position of power royally screwed up – and that pretty much speaks for itself, and also at best, personal pride and sunk cost fallacy is preventing someone from admitting they made a mistake. Or – they really are that horrible, and this is all on-brand.
This rally, a day after hundreds of peaceful partygoers are slaughtered like cattle, naked women are paraded through the streets like some budget ISIS wannabes, is ghoulish. Leftist extremists such as these people and Roger Waters are, reliably, absolute poison, and no amount of lipstick will make them not pigs.
I may despise Netanyahu, and hold him at fault for Israel’s lack of preparedness, but when the chips are down, I will always stand for Israel.
Hamas is no better than Putin’s hordes. They are the new ISIS and must be wiped from the earth, to the last man.
And I am pretty partial to or at least tolerant of to many socialist causes, and am cognizant of the evolution of the word “socialist” – imagine what an average American thinks.
And all this crap will only ramp up as Israel responds.
At least AOC, to her credit, made a firm statement. She should distance herself from this fringe if she wants to move up in the world.

Sitting out: Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Brazil (and rest of the Americas yes inc. Venezuela), Indonesia, Pakistan, Lebanon (as a whole), Africa, which is perenially too busy attacking itself
Obviously, the West would dominate in conventional warfare, but everyone loses in a nuclear exchange. Once the smoke from the current conflagration clears, I hope this recent conflict in Israel provides added bipartisan squeeze onto Iran, which has only confirmed with its recent actions that it can never be trusted with the bomb. And also, hopefully, this solidifies international support for a strong Ukraine. The stakes have just been raised higher.
:Democracy” is relative, but is the ultimate destination for all, but some have different rates at which they achieve it. And there are temporary speed bumps and setbacks all the time, caused by disruption from technology and the macro logistics of migrations. Think of MLK’s saying that the moral arc of the universe is long but bends toward justice.
You can take almost all who live under authoritarianism, and their lives are still freer and more prosperous than in the past, e.g. compare Russians today with their reality for millennia, as serfs getting decimated by Mongols.
i would argue that Trump is an aberration that will be remembered as an embarrassment in history. The institutions held strong. After the master con artist dies, his followers will die out, and scatter like cockroaches (sorry for the Rwanda terminology)
Bibi was eventually going to fade as well, but not now. He should send flowers to Hamas, for he is the greatest beneficiary of all this.
My Five Steps toward Resolution
1. Every Palestinian needs to have a UN -sponsored thorough background check, in the same manner as Cubans were processed in the US after the Mariel Boatlift.
2. Like ISIS, every last member or supporter of Hamas needs to be executed on the spot, or imprisoned permanently in Guantanamo
3. Every Palestinian who isn’t part of #2 should get guaranteed asylum in another country, but not the West Bank.
4. Gaza itself should be bulldozed and returned to Israel. After a few decades it can be repaved with Hebrew street names. The area should be renamed.
5. If the West Bank ever starts to flare up for whatever reason, immediately repeat this process.
