Burning Man founder dies at 70
(Above photo, my ex girlfriend Lisa gives Larry a good talking-to at the Lunatarium in Brookln around 2002)
Who’d a thought burning your ex gf’s lover in effigy on a San Francisco beach in the 80s would lead to what we have today? Just goes to show, a little negativity can be productive, as long as it’s creative. I went in ’98, before it got super big and crazy, never went back but glad it’s alive and well. But i never felt like such a square! If you feel a bit alienated because you’re surrounded by people who think you are weird, go to Burning Man. That’ll fix that right up.
