Acid-infused Texas in the late 80s was seminal for concert posters. Coming from a punk collage tradition, artists such as Frank Kozik, Earth Oliver, and Jason Alexander added vibrant comic book psychedelic colors to often-shocking imagery, and the format exploded, changing the industry forever. Flyers and concert posters were never boring again.
