In-Trance-It – Archaic Revival
Sometime in late September 1998, we’ll call it Friday, September 25, I attended a private Oktoberfest in the Upper East Side with Steve D. We got really blasted. I took a cab to Lucia’s In-Trance-It party probably near DUMBO.
As I sobered up I took a hit of acid. As I started tripping and walking around the party i started to notice a couple walking around stealing purses. I grabbed the guy, some skinny little 2600 hacker script kiddy named Zoom, and right when I did the purse spilled and everyone’s valuables poured out. I reached back to swing at him, and Lucia jumped in and took the hit. She was an Italian pre-med student at NYU who knew Etnica, and apparently did not want to get sued.
She also had a didjideroo player come to the party, whose song is shown above.
At another event, she did I had a DMT “ride” where people paid $25 to sit on a lawn chair and put on the brain machines and take 3 hits of DMT from an Absolut water pipe. One of them was one of those people on the downward spiral, and he got really freaked out, and I tried to scare him straight.

Acid Physix did a few parties in the back room at Twilo that were full on trance parties this had to be in 96-98.. I don’t recall exactly when, but Matthew at Neuronautics Institute worked at 2 of them I believe…….
