Akin was a Nigerian psytrancer in New York. He was one of the gentlest, kindest people I have ever known. Always had a smile. He was friends with Tony Unorthodox and Kamal, and everyone, really. Akin was the seond African to die in 2024, around the same time Chad from South Africa died.
We had many years together at parties in NYC from around 1999 to when I left in 2010.
I know he was, due to a landlord dispute, on the streets in NYC at least as of last year and appears to have died of a heart attack in February after an auto accident in January.
I will always remember his twinkling smile and laugh.

Disu Akinpelumi Oshodi aka Sonix park was 48 years old. I know he loved music and once in a while he commented on my Facebook posts. He was a kind, generous, and funny person who always made everyone laugh.
