Computer programmer. Adopted. Jason was a kind and gentle soul.
He didn’t know very many people when I first met him, but by the last I saw him he had become a social butterfly.
Jason liked to regale me with stories about growing up in Texas, where I was from.
In the mid-2000s, I lost contact with him. In the decade that followed Jason’s life flowered – he had a wide circle of friends, he traveled, and even DJ’d.
Jason loved tennis.
Eventually, his old heroin addiction reared its head, and our dear Jason passed away a few years later in New York. Within that game, the House always wins.
As is often the case, I think he would have been crushed if his ghost were to look back and see what happened, so let’s remember him for his life, and his light.
