The Ukrainians have proven the exception to the rule postulated by the New York Times, in their article “Striking Down the Queen Won’t Save You From the Swarm – It’s a common trope in science fiction, but hives in nature are not dependent on any central node for their function.”
Ramzan Kadyrov recently confirmed in his famous Telegram rant, by the time of the recent Kharkiv counteroffensive, that Russian brass were so afraid to go anywhere near the front lines – they stayed back 60 miles, JUST outside of HIMARS range (Max range is 50 miles, in missiles supplied to Ukraine). And given the complete shitshow that is the current Russian frontlines, this is a fatal error. Imagine the morale of troops worried they are cannon fodder when their brass is safely out of reach of instant death, and they aren’t.
Now imagine if the US military flipped a switch and all of a sudden, the HIMARS range is five times as far – 300 miles. That would be das vedonya.

Ukraine’s ambassador in Astana, Petro Vrublevskiy, said in August in an interview with a local blogger, referring to the war in Ukraine, that
“The more Russians we kill now, the fewer of them our children will have to kill”.

Brilliant Danish maritime military analyst says Russia bombed Nord. It’s complicated, but TL:DR Russia is willing to sabotage its long-term economic future for short term gains. Which is f***ing crazy.
Russia is a cornered, wounded animal. We cannot ascribe qualities of rational Western values to it.
And this may not be its first target. There is so much other energy infrastructure ripe for the breaking. You can be sure the Nordic countries are concerned about their Baltic pipeline from Norway.
