I’m officially endorsing the candidate that will protect our freedoms, and not take them away. I don’t want politicians in Washington or Austin telling me how to live my life.
I want the candidate most suitable to be leader of the free world, a sacred role passed down from generations of giants, that will safeguard precious, budding democracies that are precariously adjacent to massive totalitarian states that want to eat them alive. Our nation’s destiny is tied to the world. We are them. History has shown time and again, if we lose our courage and cravenly stick our heads in the sands, we will, nevertheless, eventually, definitely perish.
I want a candidate who will not offer false promises about the border, that are just hot air, foil for scammers to take your money, but attack the problem intelligently. Someone who’ll max out the benefit of brain drain from failed countries, while keeping out the riff raff.
I want someone who will act like an adult in a crisis, and not try to make it all about them.
I want a candidate who’ll keep the U.S. not only competitive, but dominant on the economic world stage. Especially technology. We’re on the verge of a major economic boom, maybe even dodging a recession if we’re lucky. I don’t want our leader sabotaging that by wrecking the country by giving all the goodies to the 1%.
Finally, I want a candidate that doesn’t make me wanna punch the wall out of shame, disgust, and hatred.
And not being so old as to court senility is a definite plus. It’s time to put angry grandpa to bed. It’s morning in America.
This republic is ours – if we can keep it.
Fight. Heal. Then fight some more.
